Death Valley National Park

Death Valley National Park, by name, may appear to be a mischievous and satanic place. In reality, however, things aren't as bad as they seem. Except for a few things like - no wildlife, scanty vegetation and scorching desert sun for most part of year. Visitors are thus recommended to carry plenty of water to feed themselves and their cars. This three million acres of wilderness accommodate enormous sand dunes, multihued layers of rock and, needless to say, loads of thrill.

Of all, stay at the Furnace Creek was my best experience. If you want to have a true Death Valley experience, this is certainly one place you can't afford to skip. Equipped with all the modern facilities this place provides comfortable lodging, a golf course, a general store and a museum-cum-visitor's center.

If you ask me, I think April is the best time to go camping in Death Valley, as the temperature remains more or less moderate during this period. Other seeable attractions of the place are Scotty's center (a nicely furnished period house), Ubehebe crater where earth still moves, Dante's View and Badwater. In all likelihood, you'll have a wonderful time in here!

I'm not really an expert to comment on rollercoasters, but this one really, reaaaaaally took my breath away. Whoaaa...now that's what you call a Roller Coaster ride. It's been a year since this almost right-angled, spine chilling ride hit the track. Nonetheless, I being a late bird rode it just last weekend.
Gosh! I was screaming at the top of my lungs, hair blown with wind and mouth wide open. It was perhaps one of the most exhilarating rides I have ever ridden. I think it is one of the best themed (for those not in the loop, mystery mine is themed as an abandoned coal mine with a sinister past) coasters by far, else than Disney of course.

Located in Dollywood's Timber Canyon region, this place offers awesome ambience, breathtaking special effects, thundering sounds, and needless to say, excitement galore.

This is certainly one place in southern California that you can't afford to miss. I just love this place. What charm, what serenity and what a magnificent appeal! The inside area is quite spacious to accommodate large crowds, that visits often. It can be noisy with people walking by yelling, but if you go early you can very well avoid it.
The place leaves an everlasting impression on the visitor. This huge aquarium gives a fascinating glimpse into marine life that otherwise subsists in azure bottomless oceans. On the outside, it has a petting pool filled with sharks, stingrays amid others. The Bird sanctuary is another attraction of this place. It's a fun experience for both oldsters and youngsters. At least I and my six year old had a ball!!!

This is my best breakfast place in College Station. The french toast that they serve are my fav. Also I like their maple sauce for some reason I found it different from the one that we get in stores. So if you are in a mood to try pancakes with nice coffee this is the place to be.

A very nice and cozy place to hang out with your friends: This is the best coffee shop in College Station. "Ice Mocha", hot chocolate and grilled sandwitch are one of my favorites there....The inside of the shop is fantasic because it is very classical..It has wi-fi and thus, makes it a great place to work as well as study. Do stop by for a coffee there...

The staff are friendly/. The prices are insanely cheap, especially during Happy Hour. The views are nice. Nothing bad to say about this place at all. Go there!

Truly awful. The staff (for the most part) are rude. The pool is always empty and it cut off from the rest of the gym and thus you are always swimming alone or with one other person. Too bad if this other person is creepy. Which they often are.

The dues are very pricey for a gym that's not open very smart hours and will close whenever it feels like it. Head down a few blocks to 24 Hour Fitness. Way better experience.

No gym is perfect, and you'll always have to deal with the muscle-bound beefcakes and snotty girlfriends... but this gym is one of the best you're going to get in a downtown area. It has every piece of equipment you could ever need, a 25meter swimming pool, hot tubs, steam and sauna rooms, and it's about half the price of all other downtown gyms.

The trainers will be pushy if you use them... so don't!! Make it clear when you're signing up that you don't want a trainer. Sign up for a membership that doesn't involve personal training, or consulting or anything like that. Come to the gym (parking is free for seven hours on weekdays) and do your workout.

The rooms are small, yes, but it's New York and how much room do you expect to get! The only annoying thing about the hotel is the elevator system; if the hotel is at all crowded, you could wait ten minutes or more for an elevator on one of the high floors. Try to get a room on a lower floor!

Not a bad place to get a bit to eat and a couple of drinks. There is actually an extensive dining area upstairs at the midtown Manhattan pub. Not really very "New York" in that you could be in any U.S. city, but the service is good and the atmosphere is nice as well.
